《You’re My Nightmare》 (2026. 9.)

깨어나도 끝나지 않는 관계에 대한 다크 팝.

〈You’re My Nightmare〉​를 공개했습니다.

이번 곡은 어떤 관계 속에서 상대의 말과 행동에 조금씩 잠식되다가 결국 자기 자신을 잃어버리는 상황을 그렸습니다.

곡에서 가장 중심에 두고 싶었던 부분은 이 대목입니다.

“Maybe I’m the one who stayed / Built a bed inside the pain / Called it ‘home’ so I could stay”

벗어나야 한다는 걸 알면서도 고통이 너무 익숙해져 오히려 그곳을 ‘집’이라고 부르게 되는 순간입니다.

다만 마지막까지 무력하게 끝내고 싶지는 않았습니다. 후반부로 갈수록 악몽에서 도망치는 사람이 아니라, 스스로 깨어나기로 하는 사람으로 바뀌는 느낌을 만들고 싶었습니다.

HanginIs 프로젝트의 곡이며, 제작 과정에서 AI를 창작 도구로 활용했습니다.

A dark pop track about realizing the nightmare follows you into daylight.

“You’re My Nightmare.”

The idea was to write about a relationship where manipulation becomes so familiar that you stop recognizing it as something you can leave.

The line that became the center of the song for me was:

“Maybe I’m the one who stayed / Built a bed inside the pain / Called it ‘home’ so I could stay.”

So although the song starts trapped inside the nightmare, I wanted the final section to feel different — not helpless anymore, but like the first moment of actually waking up.

The track was created as part of my HanginIs project, with AI used as part of the creative process.
